He has been in the hobby for over 35+ years and has created stunning underwater landscapes in various styles and sizes. He is the founder and editor of PrettyFins, where he also shares his tips, tricks, and inspirations with fellow aquascapers. He is also a certified judge for the International Aquatic Plants Layout Contest and a frequent guest speaker at aquascaping events and workshops.
Andrew Walt (Manager/Writer/Editor): Andrew is a passionate fish breeder and aquascaper with over four decades of experience in the hobby. He has successfully bred and raised various species of freshwater and saltwater fish, as well as cultivated stunning aquatic plants and landscapes. He is also a prolific writer and speaker, sharing his knowledge and insights with fellow enthusiasts and beginners alike. Andrew Jackson is a true master of the aquatic world.
Mark Rodriguez (Writer/Editor): Mark is a passionate aquascaper and a skilled aquatic plant caretaker. He has been in the hobby for over 24+ years and has mastered the art of creating beautiful and balanced underwater gardens and koi ponds. He also has years of expertise in Beta Fish and exotic fish keeping, and he loves educating other hobbyists on the care and breeding of beta fish. He is also a renowned author and photographer, who has published several books and articles on aquascaping and aquatic plant care.
Dr. Henry Jackson (DVM)/(Editor): Henry is a veterinarian who specializes in fish, aquatic animals, and exotic pets. He has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 35 years, and has a passion for helping animals of all shapes and sizes. He is a frequent speaker at conferences and workshops on aquatic and exotic animal health. Henry has also participated in several research projects and publications on aquatic and exotic animal health, such as the effects of anesthesia on fish, the diagnosis and treatment of viral diseases in koi, and the husbandry and nutrition of seahorses. He is always eager to learn new skills and share his knowledge with other veterinarians, students, and pet owners.
Brian Cox (Writer/Editor): Brian is a saltwater aquarium enthusiast and an expert in saltwater fish species, turtle, monster fish, and moray eels. He has been in the hobby for over 30 years, and has set up and maintained various saltwater tanks of different sizes and styles. He is the author and host of the Saltwater Secrets podcast, where he shares his insights and experiences on saltwater aquarium keeping. He is also a volunteer at various Aquariums, where he helps care for and educate visitors about the marine life.
